is the CDC?
The Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recognized as
the leading federal agency designed to protect the health
and safety of the public at large.
To achieve their broad goal, the CDC works with various partners,
consisting of health and community organizations throughout
the nation and world, to monitor public health, detect and
investigate public health problems, conduct research to enhance
